The vehicle expert assesses, records the damage and estimates the cost of repairing the vehicles involved in the collision. The expert follows and respects a Code of Conduct that guarantees independence and impartiality in all his assessments of the cost of a claim. Finally, the vehicle expert has the necessary knowledge of the legislation on civil liability, road safety, the road traffic code and the consumer code of conduct.
Insurance companies, law enforcement authorities, courts and private individuals rely on an accident expert to clarify the circumstances and causes of traffic accidents, to somehow reconstruct and simulate the incident. Indeed, it is often necessary to clarify the circumstances, to identify the responsibilities and possible errors of the drivers involved, independently of each other. Once the conclusions are submitted, this will allow the expert to evaluate and apply the findings in the submitted technical report.
For the above reasons, we initially inspect the vehicle, performing an autopsy on it both externally and internally to ascertain its general condition. A complete record shall be kept of the identification and frame number, possible defects, damage, malfunction, poor maintenance and safe operation.
The incidents scene is then inspected, all possible factors are taken into account, the necessary measurements are made by special means, all the details of the site are recorded and finally the marking and its peculiarities are recorded.
We study the files, the findings of the local Police Departments, the diagrams with the initial and final positions of vehicles, we measure and record data that will lead us through a scientific approach to the most complete, integrated and realistic depiction of the circumstances of each incident.
After completion of the inspection, a complete written technical report shall be provided, covering the whole of the above procedure with the observations, complete with photographic material, reflecting all the above findings.
